Who We Are
River & Timber is a grassroots storytelling medium that hesitates at being labeled as “News.” We are not timely, we are not breaking, and we aren’t pushing any agenda. River & Timber just wants to tell the stories of the Lower Columbia region – preferably from a new perspective.
You see the cashier, the loaf of bread for sale, the label… But how often do you see the work that goes into its creation? The focus of the baker, the passion of the owner? They are your neighbors, yet all too often, we don’t give them the simple acknowledgement they deserve.
We’re also intent on advocating for rising stars, spirited citizens, and historical landmarks.
This our town, our county, our Pacific Northwest. Let’s explore the unseen.
